Church Ladies

Inspired by greats like Dawoud Bey, James Van Der Zee, and Jules Allen, this portrait is one of my favorites from my days photographing on the streets of Harlem. These lovely ladies, walking out of a church that I had stopped to photograph, stopped to pose for me before continuing on their way.
