In 2023, I returned home to Baltimore, after sheltering in place in Hawaii, to make some updated portraits of my grandmother in her good wig and favorite purple suit. As I was loading film, Bill Withers’ song "Grandma's Hands" crept to mind, and I made a few images of my grandmother’s beautiful hands.
